Long term investment potential for Kandis Residence

The Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) is a joint line between the Thomson Line and the Eastern Region Line. The 43km TEL will add 31 new stations to the existing rail network, with 7 interchange stations, which will link to the East-West Line, North-South Line, North-East Line, Circle Line and the Downtown Line. Commuters can start enjoying the TEL in stages from 2019.

Stage 2 (2020): 6 stations from Springleaf to Caldecott
Stage 3 (2021): 13 stations from Mount Pleasant to Gardens by the Bay
Stage 4 (2023): 7 stations from Tanjong Rhu to Bayshore
Stage 5 (2024): 2 stations from Bedok South to Sungei Bedok

This line will connect the North of Singapore to East of Singapore, via Orchard and the CBD. Woodlands North station will also be the terminus station of the Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link can carry up to 10,000 passengers an hour in each direction to and from Johor’s Bukit Chagar terminus station.

The North-South Expressway — originally conceived as a 21.5km expressway to connect towns in the North to the city centre — is being redesigned as North-South Corridor to better enable cycling and walking. The NSC will be Singapore’s first integrated transport corridor featuring continuous bus lanes and cycling trunk routes. The dedicated bus lanes for express bus services will reduce travelling time from Woodlands, Sembawang, Yishun and Ang Mo Kio to the city by up to 30mins and also make bus connections between residential towns along the NSC faster.

Near to huge reserve sites in the northern tip of Singapore. These are land to be used for future development after the movement of Sembawang shipyard, surrounding shipyards and development of the new Simpang housing estate, making it a waterfront precinct in the north of Singapore. The shipyards are expected to be moved in 2024.Based on the master plan, it is still subject to detailed planning but the colour indicates that it will be residential zone. This will mean even more amenities in the future. However, no firm plans on the new Simpang housing estate has been made yet.
